HOME Print

$25.00

I'll be sending a free HOME print to anyone who pledges a $25 donation of support to the North Occidental Tenants Association between now and May 7, 2024

For the past two and a half years, the landlord at my rented home has been threatening and pursuing eviction against all the tenants. The three families that live in the triplex are all low income and have made their homes there for 9, 25+ and 30+ years!

This has been incredibly stressful and trying for all the tenants, who would just like to continue living in their homes with a sense of security. We do have a glimmer of hope at the moment:

The owner has expressed a willingness to sell the property.

The tenants association has found a partner in the Beverly Vermont Community Land Trust who is interested in purchasing the property. If the BVCLT is able to purchase the property, they will maintain it as affordable housing permanently, and all the tenants will be able to stay in their homes.

Our tenants association is fundraising in order to support the land trust to take the next step in the process - an appraisal of the property to set the framework for value and potential sale price of the property.

Please support us by making a donation of $25, and I'll ship out a beautiful HOME print to you as a thank you!
