Earlier this week I joined in a work crew composed of the ag-nouveau proponents, Silver Lake Farms, Homegrown Evolution, Winnetka Farms and Joseph Shuldiner. We harvested a crop of Medlar from an orchard in the hills north of Tehachapi. The history of the fruit and our intersection with it are beautifully described by David Karp in today’s Los Angeles Times Article.
