Earlier this week I joined in a work crew composed of the ag-nouveau proponents, Silver Lake Farms, Homegrown Evolution, Winnetka Farms and Joseph Shuldiner. We harvested a crop of Medlar from an orchard in the hills north of Tehachapi.
