I’ve watched the country become greener and greener, changing from chalky grey to mustard, ochre, then hazy blue as I drove east. I am so excited that Vermont is a riot of every type of green, summmmatime!

I flew out of Burlington just after I arrived! I am now settled in to a cozy retirement community in a little village outside Reykjavik.

See you when I am back in August!

Je-won,

I woke up in Brooklyn and headed north toward Albany. I used your pitch-in to pay off the guard at the tollbooth when I got onto I-87. She wasn’t wearing gloves, unlike every other booth person that I’ve seen: must have a great immune system…

I stopped off in Saratoga to get a bagel sandwich at uncommon grounds, a coffee shop I worked at in college.

On the way to the Northway, I avisited this spring to bottle some water for the rest of my drive. It smells like crushed up rocks and tastes heavy, like the water uses it’s tiny hands to hold down your tongue. I highly recommend.

Thanks,

I visited Washington D.C. For the first time since I was twelve. The heat made all my clothes stick to my body, and as the sun set, it seemed to become hotter.

I am now suddenly grateful for the frozen yogurt craze that has swept America during the past few years.

My cousin plays softball on the mall on weekday evenings. There were about twenty or so games going on all at once in front of these iconic palatial institutions, lending import to outcomes: I saw people crying.

Thanks for the hand,

I was so hot that I waded into the water through the tadpoles and stayed under until I felt cold and had to breathe.

Thank you!
